Business Development Officer (Finish at 2:30 PM on a Friday)

We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive to join the CK International team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who thrives in a friendly yet professional sales environment. Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Business Development Officer to oversee the sales and administration of baler consumables. This role involves managing customer relationships, generating new sales, and ensuring seamless administrative operations, including invoicing, quotations, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Customer Service:

1. Sell baler consumables to our extensive list of existing customers.
2. Identify and develop new business opportunities.
3. Deliver outstanding customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.
4. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
5. Prepare and issue quotes, invoices, and order confirmations.
6. Maintain and update the CRM system with customer and order details.
7. Generate and analyse consumables sales reports as required.

Other Duties:

1. Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely procurement of consumables.
2. Coordinate with transport companies to arrange deliveries and track shipments.
3. Collaborate with the production team to manage and maintain optimal stock levels of consumables.
4. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in forecasting.
5. Identify and address stock discrepancies promptly.

Key Skills & Experience

1. Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
2. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
4. Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners.
5. Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably within a B2B environment.
6. Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes is an advantage.
7. Knowledge of CRM systems and reporting tools is a plus.

Hours of Work:

1. Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
2. Friday: 8:00 AM–2:30 PM
