Whether you are a Behaviour Mentor looking for day-to-day placements, long-term stability or a permanent role, our experienced team works closely with a variety of school settings. We provide ongoing support 24/7, along with our quick and easy online onboarding process.
The successful Behaviour Mentor will have:
Experience supporting pupils in a primary school environment, particularly those with behavioural, social, emotional, or mental health needs (SEMH).
The ability to build strong, trusting relationships with children who may display challenging behaviour, low engagement, or difficulties regulating their emotions.
A calm, consistent, and confident approach, with the ability to use de-escalation strategies and restorative practices.
Experience working with children with a range of needs such as trauma, attachment difficulties, ASD, ADHD, or high-level behavioural presentations.
The capacity to work 1:1 and in small groups to support behaviour targets, emotional literacy, confidence, and positive decision-making.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral teams, SENCOs, and external agencies.
