What you will be doing:
Sales Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) is critical to high-performing organisations, enabling a coordinated and streamlined end-to-end (E2E) supply and demand process. SIOP is pivotal in ensuring operational excellence across demand planning, parts production and supply, load balancing, warehouse storage and logistics to support engine build and aftermarket requirements across a complex matrix organisation.
Rolls-Royce is undertaking a multi-year transformation program to revolutionize its SIOP process, enhancing transparency, agility, and decision-making. The transformation aims to deliver connected, live data insights for executive leadership, driving optimized operational and financial outcomes.
We are seeking a dynamic Planning Professional to contribute to this transformative journey across several roles, namely in: Central Planning, Project Value Streams, Aftermarket Operations, Procurement, and Manufacturing Business Units.
Responsibilities:
SIOP Transformation
* Shape and drive the planning transformation journey to enhance operational and financial outcomes.
* Implement and optimize new processes and tools to support the evolving SIOP framework.
SIOP Cycle Execution
* Support the execution of recurring SIOP planning activities, ensuring alignment across the organization.
Stakeholder Management
* Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with Central Planning, Procurement, Aftermarket, Value Streams, and Manufacturing Units.
* Act as a trusted partner to influence and drive decisions across teams.
Continuous Improvement
* Identify and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of SIOP processes and tools.
Analytics
* Analyse and integrate data from multiple sources to provide actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.

For the Planning & Control Manager - S&OP Transformation role, we are looking for some who has.
* Proven experience leading SIOP processes, ideally in manufacturing industries.
* Expertise in planning tools within ERP systems (e.g., MRP) and Advanced Planning Systems.
* Proficiency in data analysis and management, with experience in handling executive data sets.
* Strong capability to interpret and generate insights from diverse data systems and sources.
* Robust organizational, analytical, and decision-making skills.
People & Leadership skills:
* Demonstrated leadership presence with the ability to influence in a matrixed organization.
* Experience creating executive-level presentations and effectively communicating complex business topics.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster cross-functional collaboration.
* Proven ability to guide stakeholders and drive decisions through the SIOP process
