We are seeking a dedicated SLCN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Bootle on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to pupils with SLCN across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individual learning plans. Use strategies and resources to aid communication and language development. Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff and parents. Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment. Support classroom activities and contribute to whole-school initiatives. Ideal Candidate Will Have: Experience working with children with SLCN or other SEND. A calm, patient and nurturing approach. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Relevant training or willingness to complete CPD (e.g. SLCN course via CPD Academy). A DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
