General Manager – Grounds Maintenance
Salary - £50k -£60k per annum, plus car allowance or company vehicle and a performance-related bonus scheme

Are you a proven leader with experience in managing operational teams and contracts within grounds maintenance or related sectors? This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic General Manager to oversee the successful delivery of high-profile landscaping contracts across Northampton and surrounding areas.
In this role, you will lead a large, multi-site operation, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, client satisfaction, team leadership, and commercial performance. You’ll report directly to the Operations Director and play a key role in shaping the growth and success of the contracts.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide strategic and day-to-day operational management across multiple sites
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact
* Lead and develop a motivated, high-performing team
* Monitor financial performance, including budget setting, forecasting, and reporting
* Ensure robust compliance with health & safety legislation and internal policies
* Identify and implement improvements to enhance service quality and efficiency
Key Requirements
* Experience in a senior leadership role within grounds maintenance, landscaping, construction, facilities management, or a related field
* Strong knowledge of multi-site contract management and operational delivery
* Proficiency in IT systems, especially for financial and performance reporting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative leadership style
* Full UK driving licence
