As a Clinical Lead, you will ensure the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond just professional standards and statutory, regulatory and legal requirements. You will provide specialist nursing support and advice, take responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager's absence, and supervise and coach colleagues to provide a service that exemplifies empathy for resident issues.
You will be a Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number, understand your commitment to your profession through NMC standards, mentor and share knowledge with colleagues, and serve as a practice supervisor and assessor to students. You will communicate effectively, both verbally and written, and role model professional behaviour. You will advocate and deliver a person-centred approach to care for the people living in our care home and their families.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You must recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, know what to do if concerns arise, attend safeguarding training appropriate to your role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You will seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
