Development Worker 20 hours a week Day shift Location: In person Job description Overview Key tasks and responsibilities. Developing and organising new and existing activities and events. Collaborating with organizations, and stakeholders to develop and implement programs, projects, initiatives and organising workshops, training sessions, events, and community activities that address the identified needs of the community. Working with existing and new partners to ensure project delivery. Conducting assessments. Interviews, surveys, focus groups and community consultations to identify the needs, concerns, and priorities of the community. Supporting community members and groups in building their skills, knowledge, and capacity to actively participate in community development activities. This involve providing training, resources, and mentorship. Advocating for the community's interests and concerns to relevant stakeholders, including government agencies, organisations, and service providers. Representing Anyiso in meetings, forums, and public events. Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness and impact of community development initiatives. Collecting data, measuring outcomes, and reporting on progress to stakeholders and funders. To maintain appropriate records of project development. Promote equality of access and inclusion in all activities the duties. To undertake any other duties as required by the management.
