Total hours per week: 39.0 Expected duration 4 Years Possible start date 16 Sep 2024 Date posted 19 Apr 2024 Apprenticeship level Advanced Level 3 (A level) Reference number VAC1000246016 Positions 1 available What you will do in your working day Typical duties for this role will include: Having a good understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes Working to ISO standards and create audits as required Maintaining the ISO system Creating CAD modeling for production/manufacturing Being fully conversant with manual inspection procedures/methods Being fully conversant with CMM inspection to include CAD models Undertaking production monitoring Creating written reports (FAIR, ISIR etc,) issue conformance certificates and generating customer information supply packs The training you will be getting This is a Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship, Technical Support pathway, delivered over a period of 4 years. Mandatory qualifications: Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation Competence) Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Competence) – Technical Support Level 3 Diploma or Extended Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge) The apprentice will attend the training centre, In-Comm Training Services in Aldridge, WS9 8UG, 2.5 days per week for the first two years, and the company for the rest of the time.
