Account Manager - Water Hygiene Equipment Sales
Salary: £45,000-£53,000 basic (dependent on experience) + car allowance + commission + bonus
Territory: London & South East (field-based)
A leading and long-established water hygiene and compliance organisation is looking to appoint an experienced Account Manager to support continued growth within its specialist equipment division. This Account Manager role will focus on water hygiene equipment sales, working closely with M&E consultants and contractors across London and the South East.
As an Account Manager, you will take ownership of a well-established client portfolio while actively identifying new water hygiene sales opportunities. You will manage projects from early specification stage through to delivery on site, ensuring water hygiene solutions are correctly specified, ordered, and delivered. This is a consultative Account Manager position requiring strong relationship management skills within the construction and building services sector.
Package:
£45,000-£53,000 basic salary (DOE)
Car allowance, uncapped commission, and performance bonus

Manage and develop an existing client base as an Account Manager within the water hygiene sector
Generate new business opportunities for water hygiene equipment across the region
Secure technical specifications and drive projects through to order stage
Attend meetings with M&E consultants, engineers, and contractors
Negotiate pricing and commercial terms to maximise margin
Work closely with internal engineering and operations teams to deliver water hygiene solutions
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of water hygiene regulations including ACoP L8, HSG274, and HTM 04-01Candidate Requirements:
At least 5 years' experience in an Account Manager or business development role
Experience within water hygiene, building services, construction, or M&E environments
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
