Join a cutting-edge team developing advanced RF, Microwave, and mmWave systems for defence and aerospace applications. We're seeking a skilled RF Systems Engineer to lead the design, analysis, and validation of high-performance communication systems across the full product lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop specifications from RF/Microwave requirements, including frequency plans and interface definitions.
* Define performance criteria and test strategies for verification and validation.
* Create system diagrams and RF budgets across Rx/Tx chains.
* Validate RF designs and support industrialisation through collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams.
* Ensure compliance with security and integrity standards.
1. Essential Skills & Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of RF, Microwave, and mmWave circuit design and analysis.
* Understanding of EM field theory, RF measurement techniques, and environmental effects.
* Experience with 2.5D/3D design tools and material behaviour at RF frequencies.
* Degree in Engineering (IET-recognised).
* Ability to work across disciplines throughout the product lifecycle.
2. Desirable
* Familiarity with military satellite communications (e.g. MIL-STD-188-164C).
* Chartered Engineer status and IET membership.
* Experience in maritime domain systems.
