The Governors of Aberdare Community School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, innovative and dynamic teacher to join our large, successful Science Department.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a suitably qualified teacher of Science, ideally with a Physics speciality. The ideal candidate will have a real passion for the subject and be capable of teaching across key stages, with the capability of inspiring, challenging and stimulating students. The post would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher who has obtained a degree in any Science or related discipline.
The school opened in the summer of 2015 and is part of the 21st Century school building programme. Our facilities include a modern teaching environment with state of the art computer and technology facilities, including a Lecture Theatre. The school is attached to the Sobell Leisure Centre which offers extensive opportunities for pupils, including an all-weather playing facility and newly opened athletics stadium.
