The Role
Are you passionate about property and ready to lead a thriving team? We're looking for an experienced and motivated Sales & Lettings Manager to join our friendly, independent estate agency.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll enjoy autonomy, decision-making freedom, and the opportunity to shape the future of our sales and lettings business. You'll manage the full property lifecycle - from valuation to completion and tenancy management - while driving growth and building strong client relationships.
You'll be based in Bridlington but cover the wider East Coast and East Yorkshire area. We offer established systems, full support, and training to help you succeed. Ideally, you'll hold PropertyMark Level 3 (MARLA) and be working towards Level 4 (FARLA), or be willing to train.
Key Responsibilities
Client & Business Development
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, landlords, and partner agencies.
* Generate new business opportunities and help grow the agency.
Sales & Lettings Management
* Conduct valuations, property viewings, and close instructions.
* Oversee marketing and promotion of properties for sale and rent.
* Manage sales progression from offer to completion.
* Oversee lettings from marketing through to move-in.
Compliance & Property Care
* Carry out regular inspections on let properties.
* Liaise with contractors for repairs and maintenance.
* Ensure compliance with safety checks, certificates, and regulations.
* Stay up to date with property legislation and best practice.
What We're Looking For
* Minimum 3 years' experience in residential sales and lettings.
* Confident in valuations and securing instructions.
* Excellent organisational, communication, and customer service skills.
* IT literate (MS Office, email, internet).
* Ability to generate new business and build strong stakeholder relationships.
* Full UK driving licence and own vehicle (mileage paid).
* PropertyMark Level 3 (MARLA) essential; Level 4 (FARLA) desirable.
