Position Overview:
Webcodio is seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Analyst to enhance our clients’ digital security posture. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to safeguard our clients’ WordPress websites and server infrastructure. This role demands expertise in cybersecurity protocols, threat detection, and proactive security measures, ensuring the safety and integrity of our clients’ digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct vulnerability assessments and security audits, identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities in clients’ WordPress websites and server setups.
2. Implement robust security protocols, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection systems, and encryption tools, to safeguard clients’ digital assets.
3. Monitor network traffic for suspicious activities and potential security threats, implementing real-time threat detection measures.
4. Collaborate with clients to understand their security requirements, providing tailored cybersecurity solutions and recommendations.
5. Respond promptly to security incidents, conducting thorough investigations, implementing corrective measures, and preparing incident reports.
6. Stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies, integrating innovative solutions into security protocols.
7. Provide cybersecurity training and awareness programs for clients’ teams, ensuring a proactive approach to security.
Qualifications:
1. Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Analyst or similar role, with a focus on web security and WordPress platforms.
2. In-depth knowledge of cybersecurity protocols, threat detection, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
3. Experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
4. Strong understanding of web vulnerabilities, including SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF).
5. Excellent communication skills and ability to convey complex security concepts to clients effectively.
6. Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), are highly desirable.
7. Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
