We have a fabulous, newly created, opportunity for a Head of Individual Giving to lead the strategy and execution of all mass fundraising programmes for the RSC. In this role, you will ensure our diverse array of supporters receive a compelling experience that deepens loyalty and lifetime value.

You will work closely with Co-Artistic Directors Daniel Evans and Tamara Harvey, Executive Director Andrew Leveson, and colleagues across the organisation to generate support for our acclaimed work both on and off stage.
Reporting to the Development Director, your key areas of responsibility will include:
1. Developing and overseeing a comprehensive individual giving strategy aligned with organisational fundraising goals
2. Setting annual income targets, budgets, and KPIs, ensuring continuous growth and diversification of revenue streams
3. Integrating digital, direct mail, telemarketing, events and face-to-face fundraising into cohesive multi-channel campaigns
4. Designing and overseeing acquisition strategies to attract new donors through digital and traditional channels
5. Collaborating with the Brand & Audiences department to build data-driven campaigns that capitalise on RSC milestones and align with the RSC brand
6. Working closely with the Major Gifts, Legacy Giving, and Corporate Partnerships teams to identify and cultivate potential high-value donors
7. Managing, mentoring and developing a small team of fundraising professionals.
To be suitable for this role, it is essential that you have:
8. A strong understanding of donor segmentation, lifecycle management and multi-channel fundraising
9. Excellent leadership, project management and interpersonal skills
10. Commitment to donor care, ethical fundraising and organisational values
11. An analytical and data-driven mindset and experience with CRM systems
12. Outstanding written communication skills, experience of creating persuasive fundraising materials in print and online

The RSC's Development department is split between Stratford-upon-Avon and London, with the Individual Giving team based in Stratford-upon-Avon. This position will ideally be based in Stratford-upon-Avon and will require some travel to the other office locations (expenses are covered by the RSC). This role is a full-time, permanent position based on working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday. You will be required to work in the office or on site for a minimum of 3 days per week. Due to the nature of our work, occasional weekend and evening work will be required and there may be some international travel.
