This an exciting opportunity to join Children’s Services Disability team. The successful candidate will join a team comprising of a team leader, 3FTE social workers, 5 Practitioners and 2 development workers. This team supports children and their families affected by disability by undertaking assessments of need (Section 23), create and review packages of care. Applicants should be able to work creatively and flexibly to meet need, and be passionate about supporting families with disabilities.

KNOWLEDGE
A degree in Social Work and registration with the SSSC as a Social Worker is essential a Diploma in Social Work with SSSC registration as a social worker is an acceptable alternative together with a Mental Health Officer academic qualification.

Requirements
