Brownhills Motorhomes is the UK's largest motorhome dealer, retailing around 1,300 new and used motorhomes each year. Our 25-bay workshop operates 12 hours a day, 7 days a week, undertaking both mechanical and habitation work. We operate multiple motorhome franchises and are Fiat and Ford approved for workshop warranty repairs and servicing.
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Service Manager to lead our workshop team at Brownhills Motorhomes. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy workshop, ensuring high standards of service and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and supervise a team of technicians and support staff.
* Ensure all mechanical and habitation work is completed to the highest standards.
* Coordinate with multiple motorhome franchises and maintain Fiat and Ford workshop approvals.
* Monitor and improve workshop productivity and efficiency.
* Maintain a safe and compliant working environment.
* Support the service reception team to handle customer enquiries and promptly deal with issues.
* Implement and oversee training programs for staff development.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a similar role within the automotive or motorhome industry.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
* Knowledge of Ford and/or Fiat workshop procedures is a plus.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong communication skills.
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm.
Salary: Basic salary of £55k plus bonus with an OTE of £70k
