Senior Project Controller
Our client BAE Systems, a prominent player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Senior Project Controller for a contract position. This role, based in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements, involves significant contributions to the development and infrastructure of high-value projects within the defence industry.
Key Responsibilities:
* Overseeing project controls including risk, cost, change, and planning
* Managing the build of facilities for submarine construction
* Contributing to the redevelopment of the town centre
* Handling extensive projects valued at approximately £5 billion
* Utilising P6 and SAP software for project management
Job Requirements:
* Experience in project controls within the construction or engineering sectors
* Proficiency with project management tools such as P6 and SAP
* Background in construction with an understanding of MOD stipulations (EVM)
* Security Clearance (SC) is highly desirable
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Contract duration: 6 months with potential for extension or permanent placement
* Location: Barrow with hybrid working (minimum 2 days on-site)
* Security level: SC required
