About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst with expertise in SAP environments, particularly in S/4HANA and SAP Master Data Governance (MDG). As a key member of our global IT project team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining critical data assets within SAP systems, ensuring data integrity, consistency, and usability across the enterprise. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support a major transition to SAP S/4HANA, contributing to data administration, quality initiatives, and governance frameworks. You will collaborate closely with functional and technical teams to optimize data processes, automate data quality checks, and enhance overall data management practices. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of SAP data structures, and a passion for driving continuous improvement in data quality and governance.
Qualifications
* A degree in Information Management, Data Science, Business, or a related field is desirable.
* Prior experience working within SAP environments, specifically in data analysis and administration.
* Knowledge of SAP data structures, transactions, and integration points.
* Experience managing master data in SAP ECC, with exposure to SAP S/4HANA, SAP Datasphere, and SAP MDG.
* Familiarity with data governance and quality tools such as Collibra, Talend, Snowflake, and PowerBI.
* Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools, with experience in data integration and ETL processes.
* Understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and cataloging practices.
* Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau is advantageous.
* Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Responsibilities
* Administer and maintain master data and critical datasets, including customer, vendor, material, and financial data across SAP ECC and related systems.
* Ensure data consistency, accuracy, and lifecycle management throughout SAP modules and associated enterprise systems.
* Support data cleansing, enrichment, and harmonization activities, particularly in preparation for the S/4HANA migration.
* Contribute to the design and deployment of SAP MDG to establish centralized master data governance frameworks.
* Collaborate with SAP functional teams to align data structures with evolving business processes and requirements.
* Assist in metadata management, data enrichment, and cataloging activities, defining data ownership and stewardship processes in partnership with business units.
* Monitor and resolve data discrepancies, duplication, and integrity issues proactively.
* Contribute to the development, documentation, and enforcement of data governance policies and procedures.
* Conduct data profiling and quality assessments to evaluate data completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
* Analyze data quality KPIs, trends, and patterns, supporting reporting and insight generation.
* Work with business and technical teams to understand data requirements, translate them into data quality rules, and implement improvements.
* Identify opportunities to streamline data processes, enhance data stewardship, and improve overall data management efficiency.
* Support audits and compliance initiatives related to data governance and quality standards.
* Present data quality findings and recommendations to stakeholders, fostering a culture of data excellence.
