As we grow, we are evolving our operating model to allow us to run our services more effectively. This role sits within the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform team which is part of Central Services and Governors DGCIO. The Oracle Reporting platform is a greenfield implementation using Oracle Analytics Cloud for ERP and in the process of implementing Fusion Data Intelligence for HCM. We are seeking a Reporting Platform Engineer specializing in Oracle Fusion, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator and preferably Fusion Data Intelligence to drive the data flows and architecture of our Oracle SaaS and PaaS data platforms. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, ensuring seamless integration, customization, and performance enhancements of the data pipelines and data modelling used by the Bank's report writers working with Oracle Fusion Cloud applications. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and functional teams to understand business processes, define roadmaps, and implement continuous improvements in an evergreen reporting platform using Oracle Analytics Cloud and Fusion Data Intelligence. They will be the Bank's Oracle reporting platform's specialist, maintaining and augmenting the data pipelines and semantic data models. We do not expect new joiners to have expert skills across all the technical areas we are looking towards, but we do want you to enjoy learning and will support you to fill technical gaps (through available relevant learning content, e.g. Oracle University). Responsibilities include: Leverage FDI subject areas and augment models where required to meet business requirements. Optimize data performance and query executing within OAC. Ensure data integrity, consistency and alignment with source systems. Engaging with report writers to maintain and enhance reporting solutions using Oracle data visualization. Support data governance, security and RBAC in reporting solutions. Operational support for Oracle Reporting platform data pipelines. Document data models, business logic and metadata for reusability and data governance. Troubleshoot and resolve data modelling and reporting issues across OAC, ODI and FDI solutions. You will take the lead in ensuring best practices for OAC, ODI and FDI deployment, security, and performance optimization. You will work alongside colleagues in Technology and our 3 rd party supplier to ensure work is planned and delivering to the same goals, and bring the work of the teams together. You will champion continuous delivery in software engineering through use of Dev/Ops practices and your industry knowledge. Role Requirements Minimum Criteria Demonstrable experience in Oracle Fusion, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Oracle Data Integrator and preferably Fusion Data Intelligence Strong knowledge of Fusion modules and underlying data schemas (with a focus on HCM and ERP) Extensive practical experience working with data pipelines preferably using ODI Demonstrable experience developing semantic models in OAC Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL Solid understanding of performance tuning in reporting environments Working experience in integrating with Master Data Management solutions (e.g. EDM) Expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle PaaS, and Fusion Middleware. Desirable Criteria Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g. Oracle Analytics Cloud Professional, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Foundations, Autonomous Data Warehouse Foundations). IT consulting and support background (ITIL, working knowledge of SDLC and of IT infrastructure like server and database management) as well as in depth business processes experience. Undergraduate or graduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field. Experience working with Oracle Analytics Cloud implementations for Public Sector organizations. Hands on experience with FDI (implementation or support role) and its data structures Experience writing complex reports using advanced BIP and OTBI Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP). Working knowledge of JavaScript, and Oracle ADF. Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Terraform for Oracle Cloud. Knowledge of AI/ML and automation tools within Oracle Cloud. Salary and Benefits Information We encourage flexible working, part time working and job share arrangements. Part time salary and benefits will be on a pro-rated basis as appropriate. We offer a salary as follows: Leeds circa £72,320 - £81,360 In addition, we also offer a comprehensive benefits package as detailed below: Currently a non-contributory, career average pension giving you a guaranteed retirement benefit of 1/80th of your annual salary for every year worked.
