Responsibilities
As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our Service Users maintain independence and enjoy fulfilling lives at home. Your day-to-day tasks may include:
* Supporting Service Users with personal care needs such as washing, dressing, and incontinence care.
* Encouraging independence and involvement in daily routines.
* Preparing meals and snacks to support nutritional needs.
* Assisting with light domestic tasks to maintain a clean, safe home environment.
* Accompanying Service Users to appointments or community activities.
* Providing companionship and emotional support.
Shift Patterns
* Mornings / Lunch (typically between 7:00am – 3:00pm)
* Tea time / Evenings (typically between 3:00pm – 10:00pm)
* Full days (with appropriate breaks)
* Flexible availability across weekdays and alternate weekends
* Location – we aim to provide clients as close to you as possible.

Professional Development
We partner with Skills for Care and Care Academy to continuously develop our staff. Full paid practical training, including induction and shadowing, will be provided.
Compensation
Pay: £13.70 per hour and £14.50 on bank holidays.
Early Pay – no waiting for payday thanks to our bespoke service, allowing you to access your pay when you need it.
45p Mileage allowance paid.
Pension scheme.
Holidays: 5.6 weeks per annum (pro‑rata).

Additional Requirements
We look for people who are:
trustworthy, compassionate, patient, adaptable, multi‑skilled (cooking & cleaning skills are a bonus). A clear Enhanced DBS and two satisfactory references are required.
