This is more than just a housing role. As a Scheme Manager and Relief Scheme Manager at A2Dominion, you'll be a trusted presence in our retirement living schemes supporting older and vulnerable residents to live independently, safely, and with dignity. You'll be the go-to person for residents, families, and professionals, ensuring our schemes run smoothly, feel welcoming, and remain safe and connected. From safeguarding and wellbeing to estate management and partnership working, you'll make a meaningful impact every day.
Responsibilities
* Carrying out health & safety and fire checks with clear, auditable records
* Monitoring resident wellbeing and safeguarding concerns
* Liaising with care providers, GPs, social services, and families
* Managing building safety, cleanliness, and repairs
* Supporting tenancy terminations and void management
* Facilitating resident engagement and wellbeing activities
* Handling low-level ASB cases and supporting benefit claims
* Providing cover and support across Extra Care schemes
* Collaborating with third-party care providers
* Completing KPIs as required by local authority contracts
Qualifications
* Experience in customer-facing roles within care or support
* Proven ability to work with vulnerable people and community groups
* Confidence in health & safety and safeguarding practices
* Intermediate MS Office skills and willingness to learn new systems
* Knowledge of welfare benefits (e.g., Housing Benefit, Universal Credit)
* Level 3 qualification in Housing or Supported Housing - Desirable
* Health & Safety certification - Desirable
