The campus includes dedicated safeguarding offices and secure record-keeping systems. Due to internal restructuring, the school is seeking an experienced and highly organised Safeguarding Lead. Role Overview The Safeguarding Lead will oversee all safeguarding procedures and ensure compliance with statutory guidance. Key responsibilities include: Leading safeguarding policy implementation Managing child protection referrals Liaising with external agencies (social care, police, etc.) Maintaining accurate safeguarding records Delivering safeguarding training to staff Supporting vulnerable students Attending multi-agency meetings Ensuring compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) Advising SLT on safeguarding matters Supporting attendance and pastoral interventions This is a critical role requiring discretion, professionalism, and strong leadership skills. Safeguarding & Pastoral Team The Safeguarding Lead works closely with the Headteacher, SENCO, and pastoral leaders. Weekly safeguarding meetings are embedded into school practice.
