About the Role
As a full time IT Service Support Team Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring outstanding service delivery across the IT Directorate and Avon and Somerset Police. You ll lead a dedicated team, manage service operations, and drive improvements that enhance efficiency and customer experience.
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence service standards, manage critical ITIL processes, and work collaboratively with internal teams and external suppliers to deliver reliable, high-quality IT services.
What You ll Be Doing
1. Leading and motivating a team to deliver exceptional IT Service Management support.
2. Managing service operations including incident, major incident, change, and problem management.
3. Driving continuous service improvement and eliminating inefficiencies across the IT Directorate.
4. Maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring service levels are met or exceeded.
5. Overseeing reporting, risk management, and service measures to proactively prioritise and improve IT services.
