SHEQ Advisor Role
* You will report directly to the Regional SHEQ Manager, providing advice and support to the SHEQ team across the region.
SHEQ Advisor Responsibilities
* Develop a strong understanding of the company’s approach to managing SHEQ risk and delivering best‑in‑class performance.
* Maintain a proactive, dynamic approach to supporting SHEQ activities across the business.
* Monitor and review the close‑out of corrective actions to ensure they are effectively implemented and deliver measurable improvements.
* Organise audits and support the planning, delivery and execution of SHEQ assurance audits.
* Lead accident and incident investigations and provide support to investigations carried out by the Head of SHEQ.
* Integrate with wider project teams to gain insight into day‑to‑day operational challenges.
* Work collaboratively with clients to develop and deliver effective SHEQ solutions.
* Gain exposure to the full project management lifecycle within project delivery.
* Identify and promote opportunities for sustainable and continuous improvement solutions.
* Analyse and trend key performance and SHEQ data to support informed decision‑making.
* Maintain externally certified management systems in line with relevant standards.
SHEQ Advisor Requirements
* Demonstrated ability to collect, analyse and evaluate large volumes of data while ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
* Strong capability to identify trends and clearly communicate key issues and findings.
* Proven experience working effectively within a SHEQ team environment.
* Competent in interpreting legislation and Approved Codes of Practice.
* Capable of making informed decisions, with the judgement to recognise when escalation of issues or concerns is required.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, with strength in Visio, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Flexible and adaptable approach to work, including working time and location.
