Remuneration: £35,000-£40,000 + 8% bonus

The role of the Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls will involve:
Field sales position selling a manufactured range of heating controls systems and newly launched smart thermostat for radiators
Majority of your time will be spent selling to heating engineers and plumbing and heating contractors/ installers within housing associations, housebuilders and social housing organisations
The remaining portion of your time will be spent selling to / managing plumbing & heating merchants, electrical wholesalers and independent merchants accounts
Offering advice on promotions, merchandising (small amount), providing support, technical input, passing on sales leads etc.
Targeted to achieve circa £1m revenue
Four days a week on the road, one day a week (Friday) working from home administration
The ideal applicant will be a Trade Area Sales Manager - Heating Controls with:
Ideally 2 years+ construction external field sales experience
Plumbing & heating/ electrical market experience is not essential but may be useful
May consider a branch manager for a plumbing and heating merchant or electrical wholesaler with field sales experience
Would consider someone more junior in their career
Ideally sold to plumbing & heating contractors/ installers
Ideally managed merchants, distributors or electrical wholesale accounts
Enthusiastic, and comfortable working with an evolving business
Must be IT literate
IEE electrical/electronics HNC / HND or equivalent would be a bonus
Attention to detail and methodical organisational skills
