Role
My client is an award winning contractor looking to recruit an experienced construction estimator to join their team on a permanent basis. The portfolio of works typically covers new build commercial and industrial projects to £10m.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide accurate construction cost estimates for new build commercial and industrial works, typically up to £10m.
* Use Estimating software such as Conquest – experience with Conquest is advantageous, not essential.
* Work closely with project teams to ensure estimates support project budgeting and planning.
Qualifications
* Intermediate or senior level experience as a construction estimator.
* Solid understanding of construction estimation techniques and industry standards.
* Proficiency with estimating tools (Conquest experience desired).
Benefits & Working Conditions
* Full time, 5 days a week, office based, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm.
* Holiday entitlement: 26 days per annum plus statutory bank holidays.
* Pension scheme.
