Offer description

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary arts and a strong understanding of food safety and meal preparation. As a Line Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality dishes to our customers in a timely manner. You will work closely with the kitchen staff to maintain an efficient and organised kitchen environment.

Responsibilities
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and measuring spices.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including workstations, utensils, and equipment.
Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience for all guests.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages as needed.
Participate in training new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements
Proven experience as a cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant environment.
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high standards of quality.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques and recipes.
