At the SEC, we fuel thousands of colleagues and event teams every day, ensuring our people are well-fed, energised, and ready to deliver exceptional events.Role OverviewAs a Chef de Partie – Staff Feeding, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, nutritious, and consistent meals for Levy and venue colleagues. This is a hands-on role focused on fresh food preparation, high standards, and smooth service, supporting the wider culinary team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver fresh, balanced, and appealing staff meals in line with Levy standardsLead a section within the staff kitchen, ensuring food quality, consistency, and presentationSupport menu planning with a focus on nutrition, variety, dietary requirements, and sustainabilityMaintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and health & safety standards at all timesMonitor stock levels, minimise waste, and follow correct storage and rotation proceduresSupport junior kitchen team members, offering guidance and day-to-day supervisionWork collaboratively with front and back of house teams to ensure smooth serviceAssist with cleaning schedules and kitchen organisationAdapt menus and production levels to fluctuating staff numbers and event demandsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step upExperience in high-volume catering, staff dining, or contract catering preferredStrong knowledge of food safety, allergens, and hygiene standardsPassion for fresh food and consistent, well-executed mealsOrganised, reliable, and able to work under pressureA positive team player with good communication skillsLevel 2 Food Safety (or willingness to complete)What We OfferCompetitive salaryAccess to Compass Group benefits and development programmesOpportunities for career progression within Levy and Compass GroupA supportive, inclusive team cultureThe chance to work at one of the UK's most exciting live event venues
