Machine Operator – Heanor Do you have some machine operating or production experience? Are you happy to work 4 on 4 off, rotational shifts? Do you live local to or can you get to Heanor for 6am? We are looking for enthusiastic machine operators to join a local company who are a European leader in the recycling and plastics industry. These are excellent opportunities to join a local employer of choice and will lead to permanent work for the right candidates. Hours of work: Rotational shift pattern 4 on (2 days and 2 nights: 6am – 6pm and 6pm – 6am) 4 off Pay: £12.80 per hour – increasing to £14.66 per hour after 12 weeks Duties & Responsibilities: Identify and report any machine defects/problems to the Team Leader/Production Manager Operating machinery and other equipment Placing finished goods onto pallets at high frequency and assisting with packing products Ensuring PPE is worn at all times Operating first-line maintenance on machinery where required General housekeeping within departments and ensuring a good level is maintained Operation of conveyor belts and metal detectors (in certain departments) Completion of associated paperwork Manual handling where required Experience/Skills Required: Experience of working within a manufacturing environment Ability to work unsupervised and use own initiative Positive attitude towards health and safety and training Benefits: Temp to permanent opportunities Start work immediately Easily accessible from Heanor, Codnor, Ilkeston etc. Free onsite parking Extensive training and development opportunities If you are an experienced machine operator looking for 4 on 4 off work, please call Lauren on 01773 513310 or text 07747 534561 between 8am-5pm Mon to Fri.
