Teaching Personnel – Education Recruitment in Hull

We’re currently seeking an outstanding Teacher or experienced Tutor to support SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) pupils in Hull and the surrounding areas.
About the Role:
You will work closely with SEMH pupils, many of whom face emotional, behavioural, or mental health challenges that impact their learning. The successful candidate will have experience supporting these pupils, with patience, empathy, and effective strategies to help them thrive academically and personally.
You will play a crucial role in helping pupils achieve their best outcomes, acting as a positive role model and fostering a supportive, nurturing learning environment. Tuition may be delivered face-to-face in Hull or online, depending on pupil needs.
What We’re Looking For:
* Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* A teaching qualification or equivalent tutoring experience
* Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching or tutoring, ideally with SEMH pupils or similar
* Good knowledge of the National Curriculum
* A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable learners
* Eligible to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
