We are looking to appoint a Civil Engineer to join our supportive and skilled team of engineers in our reputable Leicester office, located in the heart of the city centre within a welcoming and modern workspace.
As a Civil Engineer, you will work in unison with the team, supporting the management and delivery across diverse sectors including healthcare, education, commercial, custodial, leisure, and residential. Joining a supportive network as part of a team, you can expect to receive valuable training, guidance, and genuine scope for career development.
Your core responsibilities will include:
1. Undertaking project technical/quality reviews.
2. Attending design reviews and site visits.
3. Assisting with and preparing technical specifications, reports, and designs for various projects.
4. Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety requirements, practices, and procedures.
5. Ensuring projects are delivered on time.

About You
Our ideal Civil Engineer will have:
* A degree or equivalent in civil engineering, working towards a professional qualification.
* Relevant experience in UK development, using engineering and design standards on a variety of projects from feasibility to construction.
* Competency and good knowledge of industry design software packages.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to develop collaborative relationships with colleagues.
* The desire to undertake relevant CPD and increase skills and knowledge.
* A commercial awareness and understanding of different forms of contract.
* Sound problem-solving skills, taking accountability for assigned work.
* Good report writing and presentation skills at the project level.
* Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks with limited supervision.
