We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Partner Manager.
You’ll govern supplier contract performance in terms of operational service, and compliance, supporting commercial and strategic activities with suppliers (across all our Business’s, Functions and Entities in the UK) including monitoring of cost budgets.

In this role you’ll:
* Support the Third-Party Engagement Manager with end-to-end governance of supplier contracts. Develop strong relationships with suppliers and become a key operational point of contact between the Third Party and HSBC
* Manage Change Management meetings and activities, ensuring an effective performance-based focus and leading the timely completion of actions
* Manage supplier incidents in accordance with local and global procedures and policies
* Be an effective team player. Cultivate an environment that supports diversity and reflects our brand
* Be responsible for the governance and oversight of performance of the wider global team. Adhere to regulatory standards and where applicable support regulatory requests
* Understand the supplier cost model, manage invoicing processes, and support ongoing management of the related budgets. Develop opportunities to reduce supplier costs and improve customer service, supporting delivery and implementation
* Provide support and subject matter contribution to internal stakeholders including delivery of projects and conducting audits
* Support the Third Party Engagement Manager with tender processes when applicable, ensuring the bank achieves the best outcomes
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements
* Build strong relationships across stakeholder groups, creating the ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units and at senior levels within the organisation
* Experience of governing supplier contracts with a strong knowledge of Third-Party Risk Management frameworks
* Proven ability to work under pressure and be flexible to accommodate shifting priorities
* Knowledge of invoice processing and invoice reconciliation is advantageous
* An understanding of risk management and proven experience of ensuring own/others' compliance with relevant regulatory processes
* Experience of delivering change and projects in line with business priorities, using a variety of analysis and problem-solving techniques
