Client Service Specialist (Flexible Hours)

* Part-time

We help offshore companies in multiple jurisdictions to comply with the new economic substance legislation by providing an easy one-stop-shop to outsource substance needs.

This is an excellent opportunity to leverage your knowledge, skills and abilitiesto work with clients all around the globe and in multiple industries. We are looking for interested candidates at varying experience levels (entry level to expert) that can provide outsourced services and support for our offshore company clients. The companies and support services range in complexity and skill depending on task and industry. See below for the current range of industries we support and examples of services (i), (ii)... that we provide to our clients. You do not need to be able to perform all of these, this is just a sampling of what we provide to our clients.

Distribution and service centre business: (i) transporting and storing goods, components and materials; (ii) managing stocks; (iii) taking orders; (iv) providing consulting or other administrative services

Financing and leasing business: (i) negotiating or agreeing funding terms; (ii) identifying and acquiring assets to be leased; (iii) setting the terms and duration of financing or leasing; (iv) monitoring and revising financing or leasing agreements and managing risks associated with such financing or leasing agreements

Fund management business: (i) taking decisions on the holding and selling of investments; (ii) calculating risk and reserves; (iii) taking decisions on currency or interest fluctuations and hedging positions; (iv) preparing reports or returns, or both, to investors or the Bermuda Monetary Authority, or both.

Headquarters business: (i) taking relevant management decisions; (ii) incurring expenditures on behalf of other Group entities; (iii) coordinating Group activities

Insurance business: (i) predicting or calculating risk or oversight of prediction or calculation of risk; (ii) insuring or re-insuring against risk; (iii) preparing reports or returns, or both, to investors or the Bermuda Monetary Authority, or both.

Intellectual property business: (i) Processing and reporting of income related to IP asset (i.e. royalties); (ii) Copyright and trademark protection searches and reporting.

* Comfortable with and find opportunity in ambiguity
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
* Outstanding work ethic and organizational skills
* Reliably detail oriented
* Willingness and curiosity to flex into additional roles as needed with our growing team
* Compensation commensurate with your experience.
* Additional Benefits include medical insurance and Pension plan contributions in line with the local medical
* Priority will be given to:
o Applicants with experience in the industries/tasks above
o Applicants with experience or are pursuing higher education in the following disciplines: administration, compliance, project coordination, accounting, company reporting, risk management, logistics / operations, consulting, board meeting / event planning, intellectual property (IP) management and/or research.

* Flexible location: Work from the office or work offsite from within Bermuda.
