Wild Recruitment are on the look out for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join a busy distribution company in the Portsmouth, Hilsea area.
With a variety of shifts available across days, nights and weekends. Fixed shift patterns are also available
This role has the potential to become temp to perm
What you will be doing as a HGV Class 1 Driver:
1. Driving a refrigerated Class 1 vehicle
2. You will be motorway driving majority of the time
3. Delivering a range of products and services to retailers and wholesalers across the nation.
4. To accurately complete all documentation required by the company and the customer.
5. Ensuring that all company rules and regulations and compliance with legislation is always achieved.
6. Occasional manual handling involved
What we need from you as a Class 1 HGV Driver:
7. A Full UK Driving Licence with Category C+E
8. Valid in date Digi Tacho card and CPC
9. A minimum 1 year of Class 1 HGV driving experience
10. Ability to pass an assessment prior to starting
The assessment:
You will be required to undertake a 2-day assessment (4 hours a day) before starting work with this company.
The first day will include a highway code assessment as well as a driving assessment.
The second day will include health & Safety training, an overview of operations, and what is expected from you.

Pay : Minimum of 10 hours a day paid (Umbrella)
14. Days (Mon-Fri) £17ph
15. Saturday day £19ph
16. Sunday day £21ph
*You must have a High Vis, Safety boots and safety gloves for this role*
