Shopper & Trade Impact Manager – West Yorkshire

We’re looking for a high-energy, commercially sharp Shopper & Trade Impact Manager to drive standout retail execution for a global FMCG brand.
This role is about winning in-store and with customers, delivering measurable results even when competing against brands with significantly larger budgets. You’ll lead high-impact shopper activity, strengthen customer engagement programmes, and support the business with category insight that drives smarter decisions.
What You’ll Own
Shopper Marketing
* High-impact POP/POS and in-store activation
* Secondary displays (FSDUs, hanging units, parasite units, countertop displays)
* Data-driven shopper strategy optimisation by retailer, medium and message
* Agency management, performance tracking and continuous optimisation
* Translating global brand strategy into powerful local retail activation
Customer CRM
* Execution and optimisation of bi-monthly brand engagement and sampling programmes
* Delivery of customer head office events and trade shows
* Running weekly digital engagement programmes for retail partners
Category Insight
* Supporting commercial teams with insights from platforms such as Nielsen, Circana, Kantar and Dunnhumby
What We’re Looking For
* Proven success delivering strong commercial results with fewer resources than category leaders
* Deep experience in shopper marketing and retail activation
* Strong data, insight and performance mindset
* Ability to turn strategy into action in-store
* Brand-side experience preferred (strong agency candidates considered)
