Our European Appliances HQ is based in Manchester, and the business continues to grow with strong year-on-year performance.As our new Demand Planner, you will play a critical role in shaping our supply chain success across specific regions in EMEA. Managing stock for around €50M in sales, you’ll be pivotal in balancing healthy inventory levels with exceptional product availability. This is a challenging, fast-paced role that offers an excellent opportunity for personal and professional development within a dynamic, supportive, and successful organisation.The RoleAs Demand Planner, you will be the primary contact and key driver of our forecasting processes across the EMEA region. You will work closely with regional teams to ensure the final consolidated forecast is accurate, timely, and aligned with business objectives. The majority of our products are sourced from China, so forecasting accuracy is critical to managing the long lead times effectively.Your responsibilities will include:Supporting regional business reviews and forecasting alignmentManaging the forecast approval and control process, monitoring for changes and discrepanciesCoordinating allocations and reviewing order fulfilment strategyCollaborating on New Product Launches and PIPO planningGenerating and reviewing KPI reports, with a focus on improving forecast accuracyActing as a first point of contact for procurement planning supportRepresenting Demand Planning in cross-functional process improvement projectsAbout youYou will bring a solid background in demand planning, supply planning, or procurement planning, with a clear understanding of how robust frameworks and processes contribute to commercial success. You will have worked with long lead time products, ideally within a multi-national, fast-paced environment, and understand the importance of a well-aligned, data-driven forecast.You must be confident working with forecasting tools and systems such as SAP and IBP, and are highly skilled in Excel. You are metrics-focused and thrive on being measured against KPIs, especially forecast accuracy, and constantly look for ways to improve them.Analytically strong and process-oriented, you can simplify complex data sets and turn them into meaningful insights and efficient action plans. You work well independently, enjoy tackling challenges, and feel at ease working in a matrix environment with multiple stakeholders.
