Nursery Holiday Assistant role at Grandir UK
Location: Whiteley, Hampshire area (Kiddi Caru Day Nursery - Whiteley)
Overview
We’re looking for enthusiastic, caring, and energetic students to join our team this holiday season. As a Holiday Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment for young children to learn and grow.
Responsibilities
* Provide a positive role model to ensure that Grandir UK values are maintained
* Ensure equality of access and opportunity for all staff, parents and children
* Supervise and support children at all times
* Contribute to maintaining an attractive and welcoming environment
* Prepare and supervise activities under the guidance of Level 3 qualified Practitioners
* Read, understand and implement all company policies, procedures and operational practices
* Adhere to changes in policies, procedures and operational practices within the required timescale
* Ensure practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
* Notify the line manager of any concerns or issues regarding company policies, procedures and operational practices
* Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, visitors and work colleagues
* Maintain confidentiality where appropriate
* Attend regular staff/planning meetings and undertake training as required
What we’re looking for
* Friendly, reliable, and responsible students
* A passion for working with children and making a difference
* Previous childcare experience is a bonus (but not essential)
* Must be available for holiday work (dates flexible)
