We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, and hard-working Junior Consultant to join the Store Construction Concept Team in our Head Office. What you'll do Support in developing the GB Corporate Building Specifications, liaising with internal stakeholders and our external Design Consultants Regularly liaise with all internal stakeholders and our external design consultants. Creating and managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers. Complete detailed and accurate cost analysis and evaluations of a variety of design proposals. Implement quality control procedures to achieve high quality standards across all construction sites. Ensure compliance with relevant business procedures Regularly deliver presentations to senior management and other internal stakeholders (as required to large audiences) Serving as point of contact for regional construction and property teams to support achievement of store construction targets Managing ad-hoc project plans, budgets and deadlines What you'll need Degree-level (or equivalent) education in Architecture, Design Management or Civil Engineering. Relevant practical design management/co-ordination experience Strong ability to review and understand detailed construction plans, whilst keeping on top of change Eye for detail and strong commercial acumen Excellent organisational skills The ability to multi-task and handle conflicting deadlines Strong knowledge of Google Suite Clear and effective communication skills Equal comfort working within a team and on your own Willingness to travel within the UK frequently, including overnight stays where required.
