ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you passionate about making a difference in communities? Do you have a talent for managing projects and building strong relationships? We're looking for a dynamic and motivated Projects Officer to join our Community Development team and help deliver strategic initiatives that support vibrant, inclusive neighbourhoods.
As a Projects Officer, you will play a key role in delivering strategic projects aligned with our Community Development service. You'll work across departments and with external partners to:
* Deliver complex community-focused projects
* Support programme management and maintain key documentation
* Draft reports and presentations for senior leadership
* Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Monitor project quality and evaluate outcomes

ABOUT YOU
The successful candidate will have
* A good standard of education including English and Maths (GCSE grade 4 or equivalent)
* Project management qualification or equivalent experience
* Strong community engagement and project delivery skills
* High-level IT proficiency (Microsoft Office and databases)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Experience working in public sector or unionised environments is desirable
* Ability to travel to other locations and attend occasional evening/weekend meetings
