Package:
* Basic salary: £32,000 to £36,000 (dependent on experience)
* Generous bonus scheme: OTE £4,000
* Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (NO WEEKENDS)
Job Description:
* Carrying out vehicle maintenance and repairs, predominantly on Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and communicating issues to the workshop controller
* Conducting additional repair work as advised by managers
* Document and record repair work in line with the manufacture's guidelines
* Using manufacturer diagnostic equipment to ensure diagnostics, testing and repairs are carried out thoroughly, to the highest quality following Brand guidelines
* Develop your skills & knowledge to stay at the forefront of vehicle technology, including EV and Hybrid Vehicles
* Assist and train your colleagues through mentoring and coaching
* Ensure health and safety is always adhered to in line with company policy
* Warranty material is kept labelled and returned to the warranty dept
* Fit manufacturer accessories and audio equipment
* Ensure vehicles comply with industry safety standards when returned to the customer and any faults been reported and noted on the job cards.
We're Looking For
* Experience at a Service or Diagnostic Technician level, ideally within a main dealership
* Commercial or VAG main dealer experience would be an advantage
* Must hold a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
* Passion for all things mechanical
* Positive and calm attitude in unplanned situations
* Extensive product knowledge and diagnostic skills
* Ability to thrive and lead a team
* Professional and courteous manner
* You must hold a full driving license to be considered for this role.
