We're looking for a dynamic Recruitment Team Manager to lead our specialized AI recruitment team in Manchester.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to take the helm of a team of experienced AI recruiters operating primarily in the US market. You'll be responsible for leading, mentoring, and developing your team to deliver exceptional results, connecting top-tier AI talent with innovative organizations across the United States. From machine learning engineers and data scientists to AI researchers and backend developers, you'll oversee recruitment across the full spectrum of artificial intelligence disciplines.
As Recruitment Team Manager, you'll drive team performance, implement best practices, and build lasting relationships with key clients across US territories. While there's some cold outreach involved, the majority of new business comes through our dedicated lead generation activity, allowing you and your team to focus on what you do best – recruiting and relationship building.
You'll also have the opportunity to attend international trade fairs and events, conduct strategic client visits in the US, and truly immerse yourself in this specialist market while developing the next generation of AI recruitment talent.
What We're Looking For
1. Proven experience as a recruitment consultant or manager within the Tech sector (essential)
2. Strong leadership skills with demonstrable experience managing and developing recruitment teams
3. Ability to motivate, mentor, and drive team performance to achieve targets
4. Knowledge of the AI market or experience within technology recruitment is advantageous
5. Understanding of the US market and time zone management is beneficial
6. A strong track record of delivering results and building candidate and client relationships
7. Confident in business development and comfortable with some cold outreach activity
8. Self-motivated, ambitious, and driven by success
9. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
10. Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events, particularly to the US
