Job Description
3. Develop and implement health and safety policies to ensure compliance with regulations.
4. Conduct regular risk assessments and recommend improvements where necessary.
5. Provide guidance and training to staff on workplace safety standards and procedures.
6. Investigate accidents and incidents, compiling detailed reports with recommendations.
7. Monitor and ensure the proper use of safety equipment across the site.
8. Liaise with external bodies and regulatory authorities regarding compliance matters.
9. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, audits, and incidents.
10. Collaborate with the Engineering & Manufacturing team to integrate safety into operational practices.
The Successful Applicant
11. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
12. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and mitigate risks.
13. Professional qualifications in health and safety, such as NEBOSH or equivalent, TechIOSH or CertIOSH.
14. Excellent communication skills to engage with staff at all levels.
15. The ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
