Job Opportunity: Front Desk Receptionist – at The Irish Institute of Music and Song, The Lark Concert Hall & Bedford House Accommodation
Location: Balbriggan, Co. Dublin
Hours: Full-time, rostered shifts between 9:00 – 22:00 (including evenings & weekends)
Salary: Based on experience
We are looking for a flexible, friendly, and reliable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at The Irish Institute of Music and Song, The Lark Concert Hall and Bedford House Accommodation. This is a customer-facing role where no two days are the same.
What You'll Do
* Welcome guests and handle check-ins/check-outs for Bedford House (10 boutique-style rooms + 7 pod-style rooms).
* Manage ticket sales and enquiries for events at The Lark Concert Hall.
* Greet parents, students, and visitors attending music lessons, at The Irish Institute of Music and Song
* Provide excellent customer service, answer queries in person, by phone, and online.
* Handle problems calmly and efficiently, ensuring a positive guest experience.
* Use booking systems, point of sale, and other technology confidently.
What We're Looking For
* Previous customer service experience (hospitality, front desk, or event venue preferred).
* Strong communication skills and a professional, welcoming manner.
* Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as part of a rota.
* Ability to handle challenges and solve problems quickly.
* Confident with technology (booking systems, ticketing platforms, email, etc.).
* Positive attitude and strong team player.
