We are seeking a committed and compassionate Pupil Support Assistant to join a specialist Secondary SEND school in L36. You will be working with KS3 and KS4 children with ASC, ADHD and complex learning difficulties, providing tailored support to help them access learning, develop communication skills, and build confidence in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils in a classroom environment

2. Assist teachers in delivering adapted lessons and interventions

3. Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction

4. Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and families to ensure consistent support

5. Contribute to the wider school community and inclusive ethos

About You

6. Experience supporting children with SEND, particularly ASC (school-based experience desirable)

7. Patient, empathetic, and resilient, with strong communication skills

8. Able to adapt quickly and use creative strategies to engage learners

9. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with additional needs
