Role Overview: As a Classroom Support Assistant, you will be working closely with teachers to provide essential classroom support and guidance. Your role will involve assisting pupils with their daily activities, encouraging engagement in lessons, and supporting both individual students and small groups to help them progress according to their learning goals. Classroom Support Assistant Responsibilities: Provide one-to-one and group support for students during lessons. Assist in preparing lesson resources and classroom materials. Encourage students to participate actively in lessons and activities. Support pupils with completing tasks, ensuring they remain focused and motivated. Work alongside teachers to deliver a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Uphold school policies on behaviour, safeguarding, and welfare. Requirements for Classroom Support Assistant : CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance, or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in a classroom setting is highly desirable. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A caring, patient, and adaptable approach to working with children.
