Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated English Teacher to deliver high-quality lessons.
You will be responsible for planning lessons, evaluating student performance, and promoting a positive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for English language/literature classes.
* Teach students the full breadth of the English curriculum at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Monitor, assess, and document student progress.
* Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
* Communicate with parents or guardians about student performance and behaviour.
* Participate in professional development activities and stay up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques.
* Implement strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.
Qualifications
* Valid teaching certification.
* Proven experience as an English teacher (ECTs welcome to apply).
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Understanding of a variety of teaching methods and detailed subject knowledge.
* Strong organisation, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
* Experience with classroom technology and digital teaching resources.
* Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field.
* Patience and flexibility to accommodate students of different skill levels.
