Job Title: Behaviour Mentor
Location: Dudley
Pay rate: £95–£110 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time
Are you a patient and resilient Behaviour Mentor who is passionate about supporting young people to make positive choices?
Schools in Dudley and GSL Education are hiring a motivated Behaviour Mentor to provide consistent pastoral and behavioural support to pupils.
As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with students who may face behavioural or emotional challenges that impact their learning. You will help create a calm, structured, and supportive environment where pupils feel understood and encouraged to engage positively in school life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group mentoring support.
* Support pupils with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement.
* Implement behaviour strategies and support plans.
* Assist students during lessons and unstructured times.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and pastoral teams.
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with young people or in behaviour support roles.
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
* A calm, consistent, and supportive approach.
* Ability to manage challenging situations professionally.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply.
