Mydas Recruitment are specialists in sourcing candidates for the manufacturing & engineering sectors. Due to recent expansion, our client, a leading manufacturing organization, has a requirement for a CNC programmer to join their established team.
The ideal candidate should have experience in:
1. Creation and modification of CNC programs using Siemens NX, facilitating the machining of production parts to engineering design specifications.
2. Analyzing part designs to develop logical machining strategies.
3. Verifying CNC programs using appropriate software prior to production release.
4. Performing all programming assignments independently.
5. Working efficiently within tight schedules.
6. Ensuring a safe working environment is maintained.
7. Performing any other duties necessary to support business needs.
Essential Criteria:
* 2+ years experience in 3-axis CNC programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
* 1+ year experience in 5-axis CNC programming using a recognized CAD/CAM system.
* 2+ years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
