About The Role:
As a Property Services Officer, you will be team player who forms part of a dedicated and collaborative team responsible for managing and coordinating the maintenance of public housing properties across the East Metro Region. In this role, you will make a real difference by ensuring homes are safe, secure, and well-maintained, while delivering high-quality customer service to tenants and stakeholders. By helping to preserve and extend the life of the region’s housing assets, you will play a vital role in supporting the provision of stable and sustainable homes for the community.
Your key role responsibilities will include:
5. Inspecting properties and undertaking the required actions to ensure they are maintained and cared for in a way which meets Agency and statutory requirements in line with allocated budgets.
6. Inspecting completed works & ensuring contract compliance, accountability, and quality control are maintained.
7. Communicating face to face, by phone and in writing on a daily basis with a diverse group of stakeholders including: tenants, real estate agents, contractors, government agencies, local authorities and Departmental staff to ensure that excellent customer focused service is delivered.
8. Working in a manner consistent with Departmental practices, policies and values,
