Clinical Support Workers play a vital role in line with nurses to deliver excellent care to our patients with broad and varied health conditions the job is both exciting and challenging where team working is essential and initiative is paramount. Excellent communication, confidence and compassion are essential.
Experience in healthcare is an advantage but not essential as successful candidates will take part in the care certificate course – developing basic nursing skills before some extended competencies such as obtaining and accurate recording of blood pressure, venepuncture, and ECGs.

Responsibilities
* Be part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care in a general and elective ward.
* Develop basic nursing skills through the care certificate course and undertake extended competencies such as obtaining and accurately recording blood pressure, venepuncture, and ECGs.
* Support nurses and contribute to a culture of safety, compassion, and patient-centred care.
* Demonstrate excellent communication, confidence and compassion in interactions with patients, families and carers.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Enthusiastic, highly motivated individuals with a patient-focused mindset.
* Experience in healthcare is advantageous but not essential.
* Flexible, with excellent communication skills and a supportive, inclusive attitude.
